These conditions are necessary to ensure the well being of our valued Guests and the orderly continuance of N6 Guest Lodge.
1. Reservations, Payment and Terms
1.1. The guest house operates on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
1.2. Reservations are accepted on a ‘per person’ basis except for the self-catering unit, which will be charged for the unit. Rates are therefore subject to the number of people that occupy a room. The names and relationship to the Guest of the additional persons sharing the room must be provided when the reservation is made. Children from the ages of 0-2 pay half the adult price and thereafter full adult rates will apply.
1.3. Bookings can only be confirmed if the guesthouse receives a 50% deposit on accommodation, along with the Guest name, surname, number of persons sharing each room, cell phone number of the Guest, confirmed payment method and expected time of arrival of each Guest. Balances must be paid on arrival.
2. Arrival and Departure
2.1. Check in time is between 15:00 and 18:30 unless prior arrangements have been made. No check-in will be made after 22:00. This is necessary to ensure the security, comfort and well being of other guests.
2.2. Check out time is between 07:00 and 10:00 unless prior arrangements have been made. No check-out after 10:00. This is to enable the room to be prepared in time for new arrivals. Guests that check out after 10:00 without prior arrangement will be liable for an extra night’s Accommodation, as we will not be able to service the room in time for new arrivals.
3. Parking and Access
3.1. Visitors for Guests may only park on the Visitors parking area. Vehicles that park in the driveway or in such a manner that it causes an obstruction or occupies a Guest parking will be asked to move their vehicle. We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles. Vehicles are parked on the premises at own risk.
3.2. Guests can park underneath the canopies provided. Vehicles that park in the driveway or in such a manner that it causes an obstruction or that are parked in the permanent residents’ parking will be asked to move their vehicle. We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles. Vehicles are parked on the premises at own risk.
3.3. Please note that trucks are to be parked outside the premises at own risk. We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles.
4. Service Hours
4.1. The reception desk is open from 07:00 to 19:00 Monday to Fridays. The after-hours contact number is 071 184 5514 / 072 104 3255. Reservations office hours are: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00.
4.2. Subject to availability of rooms, persons interested in booking accommodation and wishing to view the guest house beforehand may do so provide a room is vacant. Please phone to make arrangements.
This is a NON SMOKING Guest House. Indoor smoking is strictly prohibited in ALL our guest rooms and enclosed public areas. Guests found to be smoking in their rooms will be liable to pay an R500.00 fine.
No exception will be made under any Circumstances.
6. Security & Storage
6.1. Although the guest house takes reasonable steps to ensure the safety and security of Guests and their possessions, Guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security. Keep rooms locked at all times and place valuables in the safe provided. It is the sole responsibility of all guests to make arrangements for adequate insurance coverage on all valuable items prior to arrival at N6 Road Lodge.
This includes but is not limited to photographic equipment, laptops or other electronic devices, jewellery, cash and vehicles. Please check that you have all your possessions before you hand in your key. Upon Check out please leave the safe open and room locked. Please hand your key in at reception. Lost or stolen keys will be charged at R500 per set.
6.2. The guest house does not provide storage facilities for personal belongings or vehicles.
6.3. Please note that we have an electric fence that is on at all times. Please do not touch the fence. We also have an electronic gate. For the safety of all our valued guests, we ask that you wait for the gate to close before driving away. Thank you.
7. Breakfast Service
7.1. Breakfast is served weekdays and Weekends and public holidays. Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 08:00. Our main dining room / kitchen area are closed to guests outside of breakfast hours.
7.2. No refunds are made in the event of breakfast not taken for whatever reason. As a curtsey to the guest house, B&B Guests must let the guest house know if they will not be taking breakfast. Please arrange for breakfast before 18:00 the day before.
8. Housekeeping and Laundry Service
All guest rooms are serviced daily between 08:00-13:00.
Available weekdays only, excluding public holidays. All laundry charges are to be settled before departure.
9. Loss or Damage to Guest House Property
The Guest retains personal liability for any loss or damages caused to the property of N6 Guest Lodge (excluding wear and tear).
9.1 Guest/s attends this establishment at their own risk. The proprietor, its agents, and/or employees shall not be liable for, and the guests hereby waive/s and abandon/s any claim of whatsoever nature including but not limited to that for theft, death, injury, loss or damage of whatsoever nature against the proprietor, whether arising from the proprietors default, negligence or otherwise. The guest/s, in addition to the previously said, hereby indemnify the proprietor against any claims which may arise from whatever nature, whether from arising from the proprietor’s default, negligence or otherwise.
No pets are allowed in rooms or the premises of the guest house. Please beware that the permanent residents have a dog and cats on the farm, the Guest House will not be held responsible for any damages caused by animals on the property. NO other pets will be allowed on the guest houses premises at all.
11. Liquor / Food
You may bring your own food / liquor onto the premises. Please note that any behaviour that is disturbing to other guests or residents at the guest house will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the establishment. Please act responsibly when using alcohol on the premises.
12. Ponds and fountains
No children under the age of 16 are allowed in this area without a adult’s supervision. Guest/s make use of this area at own risk.
13. General Incapacity
13.1. The guest house cannot be held liable if any of the following events or conditions prevents the guest house from fulfilling its obligation to Guests. The guest house will take all reasonable steps to minimise disruption and discomfort to Guests under these conditions.
13.2. Unanticipated interruption to the electricity, water, sewage to, from or on the guest house property.
13.3. Industrial action, civil uprising or criminal activity.
13.4. Fire, frost, flooding, subsidence or any other force majeure event.
Please note that entry is at own risk. The management and staff of N6 Guest Lodge will not be held liable for any loss , damage or injury to any person incurred on the property by whatsoever cause.
Rights of admission reserved. Please do not hesitate to contact us immediately should you observe or experience anything that does not meet your expectations.
1.4. 50% deposit is required within 24hr to secure the booking when made.
1.5. 50% of deposit will be paid back if cancellation is made 30 days before arrival.
1.6. The full deposit will be forfeited if the confirmed reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of arrival.
1.7. Discounted rates will be revised should the duration of stay be decreased or interrupted or payment terms not be adhered to.
1.8. The Guest retains personal liability for the bill until the employer, agent, or person that made the reservation on his or her behalf has settled the account.
1.9. Cash, internet transfers and all major credit cards are valid payment methods. Cheques are not accepted.
1.10. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Quotations are valid for 24hrs unless otherwise specified.
1.11. On receipt of a written instruction to cancel the reservation, N6 Guest Lodge will refund the applicable amount as determined by the cancellation terms of the establishment. The maximum refund value under any circumstances is 80% of the charge. Refunds will only be made after payment has been finally cleared by the bank or Credit Card Company. This process can take in excess of 30 days. Should refunds to a SWIFT bank account be required, an additional R250 charge will be levied.
1.12 No Shows – when a guest does not show on the date of arrival, the full deposit and any other payment will be forfeited.
1.13. No refunds or discounts for early departure. Unless notice is given before arrival, customers are expected and required to pay the entire amount of their reservation.
